Onboarding begins with an introductory conversation — typically with a member of our leadership team — to understand your background, your goals, and whether there is a genuine fit. From there, we move to a more detailed discussion about the specific brand or opportunity, followed by a formal partnership proposal.
Once terms are agreed, our onboarding team works with you on credentialing, technology setup, team introductions, and clinical integration. We aim to make the transition as smooth as possible, and we assign a dedicated onboarding partner to every new physician who joins. Most physicians are fully integrated and seeing patients within 60 to 90 days of signing their partnership agreement.
Clinical autonomy is not just a talking point for us — it is a structural commitment. Our platform is built on the principle that physicians make clinical decisions, and operators support those decisions. We do not have administrators overriding clinical judgment, and we do not have productivity quotas that compromise care quality.

We offer three primary partnership pathways, and we are open to structures that do not fit neatly into any of them:
- Full partnership (selling and joining) — You sell your practice to the ZMD Group platform and join as a physician-owner with equity participation. You continue to practice; we handle operations.
- Affiliation (joining without selling) — Your practice affiliates with the ZMD Group network, gaining access to our platform capabilities while retaining independent ownership. This pathway suits practice owners who are not ready to sell but want the benefits of the network.
- Co-development — We build something new together, combining your clinical expertise and market presence with our platform and capital. This pathway is most common in new markets where we are entering alongside a local physician partner.
Transition timelines vary based on the complexity of the practice, the partnership structure, and the degree of operational integration involved. For a straightforward full-partnership transaction, the process from initial conversation to close typically takes three to six months. For affiliation agreements, it can be faster.
We do not rush transitions. Our goal is to ensure that your team, your patients, and your community experience the change as a positive evolution — not a disruption. We assign a dedicated transition support team to every practice that joins, and we remain actively engaged through the first full year of partnership.
Post-close support is where we believe we are genuinely different from other platforms. We do not close a transaction and then disappear. Our platform capabilities — technology, marketing, compliance, operations, finance, clinical excellence support, talent development — are all available to you from day one of partnership.

When you visit Dr. Hootan Zandifar, our founding physician, or Regen Therapy MD, or SkinTight Aesthetics, you are in the care of that brand's specific clinical team — with their own protocols, their own patient experience, and their own relationship with you.
What connects them is a shared philosophy: evidence-based care, clinical excellence, and a commitment to serving you across your full health journey. The integration happens at the level of values and clinical standards — not at the level of your personal health information, which is protected under HIPAA and managed separately by each brand.
No. Each brand maintains its own patient records and relationships, in full compliance with HIPAA. Being a patient at one brand does not automatically enroll you at another, and your health information is not shared across brands without your explicit consent.
However, if you are interested in accessing care at another brand within our family, your existing relationship with one of our brands can make that introduction easier. Many patients find that having a trusted point of entry into the network — a physician they already know and trust — makes it more comfortable to explore other services within the family. We encourage that kind of connected care, always with your informed consent and on your terms.
